Which are the most upscale Photographers?

If money is no object, who are the BEST wedding photographers? Who would you say are just the tip of the top, best shooting, best printing, etc etc.

Try Spelmann Studios and Jovan--we saw them at a Bridal Show. Unbelievable photos, really nice people.

We are using Imagine Studios. They do great work - especially their artsy and photojournalistic pictures.

I love mine - Michael Cody (www.michaelcody.com). His prices are pretty high, but totally worth it in my opinion. We are also not getting albums in order to save some money...

If I had had the money I would have booked Imagine - I absolutely LOVE their work. Very artsy. IMO I think they are extremely talented.

I am using B rett M atthews for my Sept. Wedding. I have seen thier work for a few of my friends weddings and they were really happy. We are using Sherri who is the owner and she is fabulous. My friend Pharah who is getting married in June is also using them.

Start reading the reviews of photographers...some are more photojournalistic and some are more traditional...some a mix of both. Look on the Brides Review board

The only way that i know about all these photographers is by spending countless hours on LIW and theknot.com

Willi Wong's pricing starts off at 4,500. His work is AMAZING!!!! If you do a search on theknot.com (New York Board) you can see alot of knotties have used him and posted their pics in their bios.

IMO opinion....Imagine is awesome.

The people that did Star Jones' wedding also did my friends wedding back in 2000 in Conn. IT's only recently that they opened an office in Manhattan.

They are called Maring Photographers and they are AMAZING! I saw all her proofs!

I set up appointments with FS, Creative Compositions and Sherwood Triart. I called Imagine, they're way out in suffolk, can't give me a late night appointment, and have no weekend appointments until one in midmay and after that november. They emailed me the pricing, but they just didn't seem at all interested in my business. So I'm pretty turned off to them.

I loved Anthony's work at Perceptions Photography. We saw about 15 different photographers altogether. We are using B rett M atthews and they are excellent as well.

He was absolutely fabulous. We booked him without albums (to save money during the crazy wedding time when we were constantly writing checks). I figure sometime this summer, after we save a bit, we'll work on our albums. If you want any more info, just fm with me and I'll be happy to answer any questions.
