Which are the most upscale Photographers?

If money is no object, who are the BEST wedding photographers? Who would you say are just the tip of the top, best shooting, best printing, etc etc.

I visited 8 photographers and most were very good... We visited upscale ones & also some more affordable ones. The most expensive ones I didn't find to be any better than the one we booked that was more affordable. After seeing the photographer's work we booked, I still made myself visit a few more (that were pricier) to see if there was a difference, and i really couldn't find one. So don't just go by the price....you really have to like THEM too and of course their work and also read reviews on their service during & after the process, that is also important.

FH wants to look at FS photo this weekend. We really like that they print their own stuff and we've heard they're excellent AND they're about 2 minutes from FH's place...so I want to make at least 1 more appointment for this weekend. I'm trying to make sure I really get to see who the really sort of upscale people are. We'd like to stay under $7000 for photo and video combined, but we COULD go up to $10K if the work is really really worth it.

Just wondering how your meeting with FSPhoto went... Looks like this is an old post. Did you book anyone? We're so HAPPY with our proofs. FSPhoto is totally worth every penny and do not get enough traffic on LIW. Plus, we love to support our local family owned and operated business.

This is an OLD post, but we actually still haven;t booked. We were pretty sure we were going to go with Artisan, but after seeing your proofs actually I decided we HAVE to look at FS photo before we decide. We had cancelled the original appointment because we were sick or something, and then we had put our planning on hold, and we had decided to just go with artisan because we liked them and the price was good, but now I really want to compare it to FS.
