Which are the most upscale Photographers?

If money is no object, who are the BEST wedding photographers? Who would you say are just the tip of the top, best shooting, best printing, etc etc.

Willi is all film. He has an add-on for a digital photographer (which is his assistant) since its been getting more and more popular. We had willi do the film and his assistant do some digital (which we got at the end of the night). Its really up to you how you want to work it out. But as far as I know, Willi will always be taking the film images.

I second Lina Jang (and I am using her as well). She is the most talented photographer we met with. We had a wonderful engagement photo session as well (in multiple NYC locations!), and the pictures came out absolutely great. She is so sweet and has a lot of passion in weddings and photography - something a lot of other wedding photographers seem to lack.

I have to third this. We used Lina and I couldn't be happier with our pictures. I can't wait to see our coffee table book. She has such artistic vision when she sets up shots. We just love her.

Sherwood Triart - we met with them, but they too expensive. They did Pierce Brosnan's wedding in Ireland.

I went with B rett Matthews which was the cheapest out of the ones I liked. Which were Imangine Studioes and Romo photography both in the 6k range.

Sherwood Triat was ok in price not the most expensive but not cheap either. the lowest package is below 3k and they aren't bad

I stand by my choice...I'm a photography finatic, and Duet had all of the things I was looking for...no cheesy lenses or special effects...just a good eye and talent. Check them out...and the price is right too!

I'm using B rett Matthews as well. I love them, ,every photo is wonderful and they are truly a pleasure to deal with in every way. My favorite vendor by far.

I'm using Gray Studios in Floral Park. His work is really great and he has different packages so that it can fit all price ranges

I almost went with Sherwood Triart..OMG AMAZING!!!..they even did pierce brosnan's wedding! If they weren't so damn expensive...I would have booked them in a heart-beat! As it is I may hire them to do shots of me when I'm pregnant or something like that...I just want pictures by them!

FH wants to look at FS photo this weekend. We really like that they print their own stuff and we've heard they're excellent AND they're about 2 minutes from FH's place...so I want to make at least 1 more appointment for this weekend. I'm trying to make sure I really get to see who the really sort of upscale people are. We'd like to stay under $7000 for photo and video combined, but we COULD go up to $10K if the work is really really worth it.

Just wondering how your meeting with FSPhoto went... Looks like this is an old post. Did you book anyone? We're so HAPPY with our proofs. FSPhoto is totally worth every penny and do not get enough traffic on LIW. Plus, we love to support our local family owned and operated business.
