who did you take dress shopping with you?

i have so many people that want to come with me, but i think it will be to much. my mom, fmil, 2 sisters, all my bm's and my grandma want to come. how do i narrow it down?

I took my mom, grandmother and MOH. Now that I think I know what dress I want, I'll bring another small group back for second opinions.

I went with my sister, who is also one of my maids of honor. I wanted her with me bc I knew she'd be super helpful since she just got married last year, so she'd been through this recently! Turned out to be a great choice - I ended up finding my dress, and after falling madly in love with it - bought it that same day :) I then went back with my mom and the rest of the bridal party and showed them when they came out for their fittings - Such a fun time!!!

My mom and my sister - and that was plenty. Too many opinions get too confusing and stressful!

I wne twith my mom to a few places

Then at one place 3 of my BM's, my mom and my aunt came.

Next time I went with only my mom and then ahd my 2 MOH's meet me at the place when I decided it was the one.

I am going to go with my mom the first time. I bring my sister(MOH) too, but she's in FL. I figure that once I pick one out, or at least narrow it down, then I'll take my other BMs and FMIL.

First and last time I went with my mom, grandma and FMIL. The times in between, I just went with my mom and grandma.

My MOH, that was the best thing that I could have ever done. I think that if I had taken any more people there would be toooo many opinions to go around. It was the 3rd gown that I had tried on...

As I said earlier, I live in GA with only my FI so I went by myself, and I loved it.. I thought it would be soo hard and I would be sad, but it was nice..

I took mom, FMIL and FSIL. It was great! Then when I made my decision & ordered I brought back: mom, FSIL, grandma & MOH.
Then I went back to visit with my other BM's who wanted to see it.

1st appt. = Mom
2nd = Mom and BM
3rd, 4th, and 5th = Mom
6th = BM (Mom was out of town and so upset that she couldn't go) - and this is when I bought The dress!!

I took my cousin once and the other 2 times I went by myself. I actually found my dress when I was by myself.

I would take your mom and maybe your sisters. Whatever works for you

Im taking my mom FMIL MOH AND BM I THINK THAT IS TOO MANY BUT THEY ALL WANT TO COME.

just mom for all the dress shopping. Then once I was pretty sure took MOH. I think it was much less stressful this way.

I took Mom and 2 sisters shopping. I brought the people who would be the most honest and the nicest about telling the truth

I took the 2 most honest people my brother & sister. I wanted someone who wasn't going to lie just to be nice.

When I found the dress that I wanted I took my 2 best friends on seperate occasions to see it.

I went today for the 3rd time an dplanned on taking my FMIL and FH's cousin. Well, needless to say he is from a big Italian family from Massapequa and while I was in trying on dresses, his other cousin and two aunts came into the bridal salon to see how things were coming along!!! In short, 6 adults, and 6 kids were with me I thought the poor woman helping me was going to quit. In conclusion, LESS IS MORE!!! And I agree with emma's mom...Bring your mother she has been waitng for this time since you were a little girl..it gives you bonding time

I took my sister and one of my best friends. After I found the dress I took my MIL to see it.
