Was just wondering the same thing. FH has some friends whose wives and girlfriends I have become close with and I will invite them. I was invited to their showers! But, there are 2 groomsmen whose wives I don't see often but I really want to include them as much as possible so that they will know people at the wedding. I feel weird inviting them to a shower, though. I don't want them to think we just wanted another person there with a gift!!

When i created my list. I only inlcuded the women that I personally know rather than girlfriends or wives that FH and I know but don't hang out with regularly. And for those wives and girlfriends of FH friends that I don't know they are defintely not on the list.
With all of these things that I considered my list was scaled down.
