Who got their invitations within a week?

Ok basically i am flipping right now, and i might have to go to plan B. I would need invites ASAP, and i know ive seen some of yu get them in about a week. I would NEED them in a week no more bc i just received an email from the invitation lady which i ordered invites from on february 24th, she suggested having the order expedited and i agreed to it. I contacted MANY people before i hired her to see who can get it to me in the time and she is one that said she can do it with no problem, i told her i want them by March 17th BUT if its a few days after then that is not aproblem. She wrote back and i honestly dont want to say what she told me the delivery date will be, i dont understand how somebody who does invites for a living can tell me the date she told when she knows my RSVP date i wrote a long email telling her that how can she tell me i would have to wait that much longer if the ONLY reason i hired her was bc the other company told me 4 weeks in february and i said no bc i didnt want to wait this long and i told her all of this before i hired her, she said NO PROBLEM. ANd now shes telling me well they take time, ok first of all 2 months i dont think so.

I already gave a deposit so i am so pissed about that, luckily it was through paypal on ebay so that can easily be fought. She guaranteed me something and is not following through and i still have all the emails. I am so mad im shaking right now. I dont even know what to do now, she really F*CKED me over. I should've just gone with the london company who told me 4 weeks, i wouldve had them by the beginning of the upcoming week

so any recommendations, i can really use it now. I am running out right now bc we have to go to get my wedding band so i wont answer back right away, i will check this thread when i get home.

Aww, Denise, I am soooooo sorry. I feel so bad right now. That woman is an assshole.

Maybe try a Party City. They have really nice invites and it might be quick.

our invites were shipped a week after we approved our proof, and arrived the next business day (came from NJ). it wasn't an expedited order though -- i think if you ordered from a big company and didn't do anything too custom (just went with an existing design with your info) and then rushed it you could probably get it within a week, since they probably have a lot of things premade and would just need to print. We also had our prints faxed or e-mailed to us and they answered our phone calls promptly.

I got mine in LESS than a week when I finalized my proofs.

And they were super quick to correspond with proofs.

OMG Espo, I'm sorry, I thought she was just busy but would come through for you...
HOnestly when I worked with the designer, it took me about 3 months or so, cause there are so many details.
Now I do think it's impossible to get them done in a week, but they have to be willing to commit to working on your invite only.

I would recommend Pippysweets, Not from a box and there is an 07 girl who makes fabulous invites..
Whiteaisle also makes great invites

i got mine in about 6 days and i'm sure you can have them quicker than that. There customer service is great and every time i called i got through to someone pretty quickly and they were always very helpful. I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. It is just unacceptable what that woman did. Hang in there, it will work out

Go to Print Icon in the city ASAP. They are a direct printer. They can print up FAST. They have amazing designs etc. go there today if you can. right next to Paper Presentation....

Ok, my best advice is party city. Go today!!! We ordered out invites on a Sat and they were in on thurs!

They are not going to be anything extravagant, but they have like 20 books to go thru. Also no proofs, so just type and bring what u want to print and u are all set! HTH!

oh no denise im sooo sorry your having such a problem!!!!! i would recomend my company but i think it was closer to 2 weeks if not a little more!! sorry i cant help! but seems like alot of girls have posted some good sites!! GOOD LUCK!

soo sorry u have to go through this!!! i ordered mine from pippys sweets but she probably would not be able to do it in a week. Some of the other sites mentioned had really nice invites. (white aisle, mygatsby). Goodluck!!!
