My mom is insisting on paying, but truth me told I think my BMs should pay....I paid for most of their showers (Not all of them). I dont think its fair for my mom to pay and I'm actually really annoyed by it. Am I being an unreasonable bridezilla?

My mom is paying for my shower but for her she wouldn't have it any other way. She said my BMs can take care of the fun stuff for the shower (like games and decorations) but she's not expecting nor asking them to put in for anything else.

Same for me! And most of my friend's mom's paid as well. The last time I paid for a shower was one years ago up in Rochester.

i would feel horrible if my BMs had to pay for the shower ... i know that's what people do, but i just wouldn't feel right about it.
my mom is paying for it all (we're keeping it small anyhow)

My BM's paid for it. It wasn't an option for my mom to pay for it.
I think this is all done differently for different people depending on the circumstances. Sometimes the MOB might have A LOT of money and the BM's dont... other times it's the opposite. I think this should be done differently dependent upon each situation.
If you are uncomfortable having your mom pay for it all... why not have the BM's contribute things? Like have them do a wishing well and decorations and games. etc. then your mom can pay for the place and cake. so you split it up and the burden isn't all on one person. This seems like the best solution for you.

Mine and FH's mom will be paying for my shower. In my opinion, I don't feel it's my BM's responsibility to pay for my shower. I have been in many weddings and never payed for it. The BMs should do the games and get you nice gifts but I think that's all that should be expected. I do see your point though---If I paid for my friends showers and now they are in my wedding, I would want them to chip in for mine too.

I had my shower already but my mom paid for the whole thing but my BM & MOH bought me a very expensive gift which was really nice.

My aunt and grandma are paying though my MOH is sort of the master of ceremonies. I didn't want mom to pay but definitely didn't want bridesmaids to pay!
Me and other bridesmaids ARE throwing my MOH a shower but its her 3rd shower so will be very low key....

My mother is paying for my FL shower and my FMIL is paying for the shower in NY. They both dont want to have to depend on anyone for anything. They both said the BM can help set up and with other little things but they want to finance it

As far as I know my bridesmaids asked for a list I would assume my BM are throwing it but sure my mom would help out. When my friends got married the BM alway paid for the shower

I think it depends... are your BMs paying for your Bachelorette party? In my case, my mom is paying for most of the bridal shower, MOH (my sister) is helping her some I know. But my BMs are just helping with small details. They are planning and paying for the bachelorette party.

My mother too. She is insisting. But truthfully, I have only been in one bridal party that I havent contributed hundreds of dollars to a shower. Last time I was MOH, it cost me almost a thousand dollars. Whats the etiquette on this? Or tradition?
