Who is paying for your shower?

Hey girls,

My mom is insisting on paying, but truth me told I think my BMs should pay....I paid for most of their showers (Not all of them). I dont think its fair for my mom to pay and I'm actually really annoyed by it. Am I being an unreasonable bridezilla?

My mom/parents are paying for it - they're insisting on it as well. And to be honest, most of my BMs don't have the money to throw this kind of event anyway so I'm kinda relieved.

My BP is. My sister is the MOH and I think sh might be geting secret help from my dad.

My mom is paying for my shower but for her she wouldn't have it any other way. She said my BMs can take care of the fun stuff for the shower (like games and decorations) but she's not expecting nor asking them to put in for anything else.

Same thing happend here, and it turned out fine :)

My mom's paying for it.

BMs take care of the bachelorette party.

I paid for my friends shower and bachelorette party - I spent over $4000 on her wedding in total. I would never do that to my bridal party - it's too much pressure.

im not really sure.... my sister is getting married 3 months after me and i suggested that we skip giving eachother gifts and take care of our showers... but i know my mom and FMIL have had a convo about it also and i think my FMIL offered to help... so i have NO idea whats going to end up happening... i say let them figure it out lol

My Mom paid for it. Although I don't have bms, i wouldn't let them pay for it unless we did something very low key. The bill was almost $3000 so even if I had 5 bms, that would be too much IMO.

My mom, FH's mom (which was so generous of her to offer, love her) and my bridal party. Both moms are covering half plus centerpieces.

my mom is... but honestly for our culture its not really heard of for anyone else to pay except the mother (except for extenuating circumstances that is)

eta: even though bridal showers are unheard of in greece lol but you know what i mean

she said it was better for her that way she didn't have a whole bunch of other opinions to deal with.

My mom is paying for my shower also. My BM's will help out with the planning and stuff and will prob throw in their own stuff but my mom is basically paying for it.

My parents paid for my shower. Mom wanted to and she figured it would be easier because all of my bridesmaids are out of state (and one is out of the country). Plus, I think she was happier doing it this way as she could do it the way she wanted

I had two showers because DH's family lives a few hours a way so my MIL paid for the shower with DH's family. For my family and friends my sister (MOH) and my mother paid for it. My BM's were not asked to contribute any money

My mom paid for my shower, but the bridesmaids gave a little bit of money towards it and helped out a TON with preparations and little things.

my sister(MOH) is mostley paying and she is tring to no avail to get the BM to chip in...(dont even get me started on that one! My mom is coming up with the rest!

I have a feeling my FMIL will pay for it. he keeps talking about it. I don't even want one. lol

I;m only having a MOH and no bridesmaids so I'd feel bad if she paid for it.
