Whos is paying/paid for your wedding dress? POLL

The ones who answered to Parents ...Is this because its usually the tradition to have the brides parents pay?

For the ones who are paying for their dress, Do/Did you expect to pay for it?

im one of the lucky ones- my mom wants to pay for the whole outfit- however she has a big say in it as well, LOL

maybe your mom will present you the money as she did for your sister - like for christmas or your birthday?

i am paying for my own dress and accessories. unfortunately, my mom does not have the financial means to help me out in any way. i will actually be buying her dress as well. luckily my fi parents are giving us $10,000 to be spent as we please---either toward the wedding or down payment on a house. we are putting it toward the reception bill-it should cover most of it. i know if my mom could help pay she would, so not complaints here. ~lacey

My grandma is actually helping to pay for mine....my mom was going to help me with this but then my grandma started giving me money and was saying to put it toward the dress....every week about she gave me some. Grandparents are the best!!
