So far, FH and I are paying for it by ourselves and a little help from family...I think

FH and I are paying for most of it. My sister said she will help out and buy my dress (gotta love her!) and FMIL has helped out with photo and video. The rest is up to us

we are paying for all which is why we havent booked anything b/c we have no $ and i'm hoping i'll be able to stay a 2009 bride and not go to 2010 but i'm still not a 100% sure. I want to book by the summer but this has been just an awful week and stuff has come up we didn't expect so i'm not sure i'll be able to book anything anytime soon. sorry to be the downer on this post.
This sounds like me, if we can't swing 09, I'm gonna have to do 2010. But, I'd rather save more money and have what I want then, skimp out on things just to do it earlier....by a few months. Also I don't want to strap our money down for the wedding, things are always popping up.

We are paying for a lot of it...we are getting $$ from both sets of parents to help out, so that is great!

my Fh and I are paying for basically everything. My stepfather said he will pay for the pictures and my mom said that she will buy my dress. FH and I have to pay for the rest. It's very stressful and until I find a job I am panicing everyday!

That's our exact situation! FH and I have already fought about his mother, who has plenty of money and has said nothing either way, like the elephant in the room. My mom can't afford to help with anything.
Just 2 kids on our own.

fh and i are paying for this ourselves. my father is really sick and not working so my parents cant afford to help. and his parents arent really well off so they cant. im already stressed and i cant even think of how the hell we are going to pay for the wedding plus keep up with our rent and we both have brand new cars we are paying for.. argg if i knew we were getting engaged i would have kept my stinky 00 neon!
