I am just curious if I am the only one with the FH paying for our own wedding.

My parents are paying for almost everything. My brother and sister-in-law are paying for the rehearsel dinner as their gift to us (it's not a typical rehearsel dinner, but it's still dinner for 35 people!).
Fiance and I are paying for the invites, favors, and the photography, and obviously for the honeymoon and the rings.

my parents are paying half & FH is paying half. i just graduated college so i don't have any real $ to pay for anything but i'm kicking in as much as possible.

Right now most of the wedding is being paid for my us. My parents unfortunately cant help much (one thing important to them is give me my dress)
FMIL instead if paying for E-party at a place, instead we are hosting at his aunts house who will cater it (smaller event) but that $$ she will give towards wedding to do with as we please which is nice.
Ughhh..stressfull esp when you see prices these days..but then it is such an important day that we will remember forever.
Anyone have Excel or Word spreadsheet to budget everything? If so FM it to me pleaseee :)

We are all splitting the cost of the wedding. My parents are paying for the hall and a few other vendors. My FH is paying for the band (b/c he refused to get a dj). I am paying for all the little odds and ends like stationary, limos, favors, bridesmaids hair, rings, etc.

My parents gave me a little less then half of what the wedding is going to cost. FH parents are both deceased so we are covering the rest and it's still ALOT! I keep having the same dream: the day of the wedding my parents hand me a check for whaterver we covered! - YEAH RIGHT!

We got a couple of checks from our parents, not for anything specific. They will cover less than1/2 but still it helps so much!
