My mom and sister but I am putting my two sense in. I picked the place, the menu, ok'd the invites. I told my mom I would make the favors. She told me to shut up!!!
same here. i picked the place and date but want to stay out of the rest. It's not a surprise; my mom and sisters are all planning it.

I'm helping pick the date. Other than that its up to my Mom, MOH and BM's. They will be splitting up all the rest of the details and cost! HTH

i think the brunt of the planning if probably gonna fall on my sisters and mom just because they'll all be in the same place, but i can see my bms really helping out too. i want it to be a surprise though, so i'm staying out. =0)

My mom is paying for it and picked the restaurant! (I cannot leave that financial burden on my sisters and bridesmaid). One sister is doing invitations, the other is younger and will work on the games and prizes, and my bridesmaid will get the favors!
Also I know about mine...dont like surprises and I am a control freak! Also we had to plan it around my sisters vacation time (she lives in NC).

My FMIL is hosting the party in Rhode Island so she's doing a lot of the planning. I know the date but I'll let FMIL, Mom and Sister do most of the planning. I am just a little worried since none of them have ever done a bridal shower before, so I've given them some ideas - thanks to other LIW brides reviews!

i thought it was not cool to plan your own shower because then its like your asking for the gifts? I dunno one place tells you one thing another tells you something else..SO CONFUSING!

My mom and MOH are planning it, But they are inculding me somewhat.
I planned my shower! My girls took care of the games and mom and dad footed the bill, but I did everything else. It's definitely okay to be involved - do what makes you happy!

point of shower is to get gifts to help the couple....and the bride and groom pick out the gifts regardless
it really depends on the person...do whatever makes you feel comfortable

I have a really small BP (1 MOH/Sister and 1 BM), so I am sure that they will be trowing it with my mothers help. I've already given my MOH the names and addresses of who I think should be invited, and I've told my mother my likes and dislikes. I don't want to know when or where it is...I'd really like a suprise because everytime someone throws me a suprise party I always find out. Knowing my MOH...she'll either crack and tell me or keep it sooooo locked up that I'll be shocked!!! And my BM has been in nearly 30 bridal parties (one year she was in 11, MOH for 4 of them ) she wouldn't tell me a thing if her life depended on it!!!

sis/moh and mom....i picked the place, but only because it was a way to tie in my grandmother somehow who passed away 10 yrs ago - it's at her fave restaurant. everything else is pretty much a surprise..... which i'm excited about but also frustrated (Bella77 = control freak!)

Only thing I was a part of was the invite list, other than that my Mom chose the venue, and my MOH planned everything.
Same here, I wasn't involved at all! only gave my MOH the invite list and her and the rest of the bridal party planned everything!

My MOH and bridesmaids. I know they are planning it but I dont know where or when. I can't stand not knowing. I thought I wanted it to be a surprise but now Im so anxious! haha
