grrrr...im trying to find a reasonable price for my guests, and so far the lowest i was able to find was 153/night..and i went to 5 hotels so far...uggggggggggg

well don't forget that hotels in the summer are much more expensive then during off-peak. i ended up not doing a room block b/c the prices were all over the place and just decided to let me guests book what suits their finances.

god i am so bad at negotiating..i mean if i could get them down that much i think it would be much more reasonable..what do you even say lol

yeah im not good at it either...fh is in sales and is raelly good at it. he basically told them look this is the amt we want to pay and if you dont give it to us we will bring our business elsewhere...they agreed bc we will be having tons of OOT and didn't wanna miss out on that $$$

i'm doing the website too. I got 2 initial but I think those are automatic ones. I think it does take some time.

i didn't end up doing a room block because the lowest prices i could find needed me to guarantee 10% of the rooms. But i didn't want to take that chance because we don' t know who will actually book rooms (FH's friends live kinda close, like, MA.. and we have a day wedding so we don't know if they'll want to stay or drive home after)

Girls your welcome, it does take a little time, on some hotels, what i did was once i narrowed down to the hotels i was interested in i submited a a lower bid that was reasonable and most hotels did agree, good luck have fun with it.
