Why cant people send an RSVP back?

I mailed out 55 invitations 3weeks ago, and only rec'd 25 back. My RSVP is 9/1, so I know I still have time, but this is so aggravating.

I was just teasing Jannshari about not sending back her RSVP for my wedding!! I mean she's on LIW you'd think she'd know! LOL



I feel ya. I sent out 100 invites now since the first week of Aug. I have less than 20 RSVPs but my Deadline is 9/15 so I'm hopeful. I'm sure I'll get angry when it gets closer since his mother took 20 invites and his brother and sister took 20 and his grand mother 10. That's 50 invites which I have no idea who they are inviting!

I don't think I'll know too many people at my OWN WEDDING!

people are just forgetful... also we give the guests weeks to RSVP so people prob think they have 'time' to send it back and then forget... ever since I have been planning a wedding I send back anytype of RSVP the day I get it...

i am mailing my invites out 10 weeks before our wedding - august 27 - i made our RSVP date for October 1. i made it early enough so that i wont start calling people until mid - october. i figure people dont know that they need to send it back on time. b/c you know how some people are.

I had an RSVP date of 8-6-04 and i got three back on the 16th. Hello i sent them out in june if you couldn't make up your mind of if you are coming or not there should be a box saying 'i might come.' I am so glad that is now all over. Best of luck
