Why your reception hall

Re: Why your reception hall

For us, the food was the most important thing. Villa's has a fantastic reputation for food and service, and it was proven when we went to the food tasting. The decor is beautiful and classy, the food is outrageous, it was a no-brainer for us!

There are SO many selling points.

The thing that got FH was that you get seonds on the food WITHOUT asking..hes a hog! hahahah. I loved the room, the view, and the blacony on the back side of the room. It was the first and ONLY place we looked at. We fell in love once we looked at it. We also loved that there is only 1 wedding at a time. We didnt want to share the day with anyone...no offense. I think we deserve the attention, and so does the other couple.

I really wanted something close by and Stonebridge is only about 5 mins from our apartment (and 10 from my mom's house where I'll be staying the morning b4). I really wanted someplace by the water but then I saw a commercial for this place and thought it was so beautiful with the flowers and I just loved the rolling green grass of the golf course. I had never heard of it b4!!! Here's the real kicker tho! My mom works with this guy and it turns out that his wife is one of the BMs for Stonebridge. I met with her and saw the rooms and the grounds and it was just perfect! I didn't want somewhere that everyone else was getting married, I want our own place. Plus, we'll be the only affair there that day and she said I'd be treated like a Queen, that put me over the top! And I couldn't resist the HUGE new bridal suite (it's gorgeous) and the old one is for my FI which is great since we're getting married there and not seeinig each other beforehand. Everything just came together!!!

Well I actually fell in love with a different place and wanted to havet he reception there but knew in reality we couldn't afford it since we are paying for everything ourselves. So we kept looking and finally came acrossthe manor east and I liked it alot. What made me love it was the rooms we got to choose which rooms we wanted and teh BM was so nice and very compromising very easy to deal with. I do love it now.

We chose our place because it seemed so different. We loved the art deco style, and the are sooo many picture opportunites on the inside that even if it was a rainy day, it wouldn't matter. they also have picture studios inside that you can have an exclusive area to go for pictures at any time.

Another huge point was our BM. He took his time with us and explained everything. We were there for 2 and half hours!!! Gave us drinks and desserts and it was delicious!

The Europa for the cocktail hour was so superb, we never saw anything like it. That right there told us we had to have it.

We also will be having a lot of out of state guests and they have the Holiday Inn Express RIGHT NEXT DOOR!

And although we are probably not going to use it, we have the option of rising from the floor in the middle of the dance floor when we get introduced to begin the reception! We are more likely thinking we are going to use the 'lift' to bring up the wedding cake near the end, but we are undecided.

Its exactly what we are into as far as style and decor goes...dark mahagony woods with beautiful detail, vicotrian furniture and pictures, its warm and inviting when you walk in and just very quaint...you forget that you are in a catering hall...its perfect

One wedding at a time..

the pond in the middle of the coctail room, and the all white ballroom we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it! (Plus its not near my house so no one that I know had their wedding there)

it was love at first sight!

the room we have is just absolutely gorgeous with the skylights, I always wanted an outdoor wedding, but this way we can enjoy the light and not be controlled by the weather!

.... and it turns out my wedding will be the only one they have for the time slot!

I just fell in love with it right away. I've been to a wedding at Villa, and I remember the food and how beautiful it was.
We went to a few places first, but I didn't get any 'TaDa' feelings.
