I've been thinking about this, I really don't want to stop working when I have kids. I'll go back to work after maternity leave (maybe part-time for awhile, maybe full right away) I always thought I wanted to be a stay-at-home-mom, but right now... I don't think I'd want to.
Same thing here...I really want to give my kids what I didnt have when I was younger, but i dont think we could afford to not have me working. I am a child of after school babysitters and summer camp, and i wanted to be able to have my kids be home, but i dont think it will be possible...
i really would like to work but i know once you have a baby it is important you are there for him...i know when i work i will have to commute and stuff and leave the baby with someone to take care of he/she the only 2 people i would trust is my mother and FMIL with my babies...if they can't!! i refuse to leave them with nanies
im hoping and praying i can stay home with my kids. i don't trust anyone with my neices or nephew so can u just think about it being my kids. i will have to see.
I dont want any kids...so no. But I would really like to retire and become a woman of leisure...just do charity work and lunch with friends. LOL. A girl can dream. But since I make more money...it wont be happening.

Absolutely not, I feel very strongly about this. I have not spent the past 6 1/2 years of college and $25,000 to stay at home. Sorry, just cannot do it. My career is extremely important to me. Growing up we had a nanny and she is like a second mother to me now. If I can afford it, I plan on hiring someone bc I am not crazy about the idea of daycare, but we will see when the time comes.....I plan on waiting at least 5 years b4 children.

i would love to be a stay at home mom. but realisticly can i be, probably not. I think i will stay home for a while and the i will have to put my child in daycare. but i want them to be a little older when i put them in. i used to work in a day care and i felt so bad for those 6 week old babies in daycare. but i guess you got to do what you go to do

I wish I could...but I don't think we could ever afford to not have both of us working.
I would like to keep working but who know, I think your priorities all change once you have kids.

we don't plan on having kids, but if we were I definitely would conitinue to work, i did not go to college forever and get my masters to stay at home-sorry couldn't do it
when i first have a baby then i will probably stay home to take care of it while the baby is still young (being that daycare costs a fortune).... BUT i would def have to get a part time job at some point because I CANNOT stay home, i go crazy lol

Im not on birth control.. never been ... and Fh wants kids .. he wants 4 .. HUGE compromise ... I LOVE KIDS i just think that once you have them your whole life is changed ...
Yes I am... coming from a single parent household my mom missed out on a lot because of our situation and I dont want that at all for my children.... i want to have alarge family and I want to raise them. Thankfully FH and I have the ability to do so.
