I would like to win a day of DOC because I am doing everything for the wedding completely by myself. My parents are both deceased and FH works FT and goes to school PT so its really hectic right now. I am going to get everything done but having someone there to coordinate everything on the big day would be extremely helpful and would take a big load of stress of of my shoulders.

I would love to have a DOC for this special day that I have been dreaming since a very young girl. I really wanted a DOC, but unfortunately is not in our budget. I would like my special day to be perfect (stress free) I always worry and think of what will go wrong instead of thinking everything will go right. And for once I would like to change that and actually have someone assist me in creating what I always imagined.

I am planning my wedding from overseas and not only does this cause a money issue (NY Wedding + Ecuadorian Salary = TIGHT budget – 10K total licence to stockings!!!) but I also have my poor mother and sister running around going crazy. They both work full time and also go to College (yes my mom too!) and on top of that we are all dealing with some CRAZY family issues and they had to sell their house (I won´t be able to take pics in the house I grew up in for the wedding ).

I wanted to hire a DOC not only for my peace of mind but also as a thank you to them so that they can just relax that day (we are diying a lot of things b.c of budget and need someone to set them up) but I simply can´t afford it. This would be a godsend not only for me (so far the planning has been nothing but stressful and I´ve been stressing a lot lately about how that day will work out) but also for my mom and sister because although I trust them to set things up, they are the best and deserve to relax and enjoy the day!

*** I don’t know if my being overseas would affect the non-transferrable part but if so, you don´t have to worry. I will be in NY soon to finalize everything in person (3 weeks to finalize a whole wedding down to the diy projects!!) and then I will be back a few weeks before the wedding). I would definitely be able to meet with them in person and am always available via email and phone (I have a number that rings through the internet). I would like to thank you for this wonderful opportunity.***

I am the linchpin in my family and my fear is that I will spend the day worrying about and assisting others when I should be celebrating. I'm an assistant at work, I take care of driving my parents to and from appointments and errands, I work two jobs -- I would love a day off. And if that could be my wedding day, I would be eternally grateful.

I would like a DOC for the peace of mind knowing that a professional is there to ensure that time lines are kept, and all vendors are ready on time. We have many elements within our wedding, and it would be an immense help to know that we have someone there who cares about our wedding as we do to keep it running smoothly, so I do not go crazy. We cannot afford one on our own, even though it would do wonders for us that day.

I really need a DOC!!! I am the first one in my family to have their wedding at a hall and not elope or have it at City Hall therefore I am lost!! I am having a hard time figuring out exactly what I need to do to make this wedding great and a DOC would help me soooo much.

I would really love a coordinator because I work very long hours as an AP for a special education high school. I coordinate for everyone else all day, everyday and I would love for someone else to take the lead on my special day.

I got an e-mail from them this morning announcing the winner, and I was so disappointed!

I would LOVE to have a day of coordinator because I am an extremely anal person who really wants everything to be perfect. I am worried that If I don't have a DOC, I will spend the entire day worrying instead of having fun. I know that after spending so much time planning everything I am going to want someone (preferrably not myself) making sure it all comes together beautifully.

ETA: Thank you for re-raffling this! I'm sorry the other girl couldn't use it, but I think we are all very excited!

I'm not sure they would want to coordinate my wedding though... unless their up for the challenge. NY-ers can be a challenge to work with but I have people coming from Europe and Asia as well! Yipee. (I'm laughing right now but hopefully I won't get too stressed out when they arrive. haha)

I NEED a DOC for my big day becuase I am an over acheiving perfectionist!! I know that all day I will be freaking out about things being perfect and I will probably not enjoy myself as much as I should. I would love to have a DOC for my wedding day because it's a little luxury and peace of mind that I would never be able to justify allowing to give myself. I like things to be just so, and I know that I won't have the time myself that day to really make sure that everything is going smoothly, and I feel guilty having to make my parents and BP help with some aspects of the day of coordination and have them miss time and enjoyment for themselves.
