Wine color BM dresses for morning May - too dark? w/ pics

My boss (clothing company) is horrified that Im having my bridemaids wear wine colored dresses for an early afternoon wedding. She says its too dark for that time. Since she's the president of a clothing company, I cant entirely discount her opinion.

I like the color, it took me a long time to pick out, and I dont care what time of day it is.

What do you think?

I say it's perfect - if this is what you want then there is nothing to worry about!!!! Go with your heart on this one - rules were meant to be broken!

I don't think it's that bad. It's not like you're having light pink dresses for a February wedding, you know? But if you really like these dresses, then go ahead and get them. Maybe you can 'lighten' it up by using pink flowers mixed with white and wine colored flowers?

Take no notice of your boss. It is your wedding. Everyone has different ideas and tastes. Go with what you feel is right...

I say go with the color you like- I am using Chocolate for my Feb. wedding.
