Oz ended with them on the bus when they had to close the doors. It was supposed to be the series finale with a slight chance of coming back once the sopranos and sex and the city ended but I doubt they will bring it back...Glenn said at the end that maybe Oz will be back again one day. If they brought it back i would be soooo happy

ok listen guys...u gotta wach the end of the episode again and wach closely...here is wat ul c...when tony walks into the diner he looks at himself sitting down at the table...u can be sure of this b/c he is wearing different clothes when he sits down...i dont no *** that means...in previous seasons it had been told to us that tony's dad died just as his daughter (janus) walked in...if u wach closely u will see janus walk in shortly after tony sits down...this is used to signify the possibility of that happening again...then u will c the sports store owner who tony destroyed walk in wearing a brown kinda hunting jacket...he is the guy that a couple seasons ago got into gambling trouble with tony and tony took over his store...HE IS THE 1 WHO WACKS TONY...he comes in and sits down hunched over...hiding his eyes as not wanting to be noticed...and alas...'u probly dont even here it when it happens rite?' (this is bobby talking to tony in the 1st episode of the season...tony had this flashback as he was laying down in the last episode...there would be no reason to have had that in unless it had some huge significance)...and finally...tonys daughter walking in to c her dad get shot just as janus did so many years ago...u hear the bell of her walking in and then blackness...nuthing...it signifies the neverending cycle of the soprano family...aj will become tony...meadow will become janus...carmela will become livia (tonys mom)...and cycle of violence goes on and on and on....absolutlely amazing...i HATED the ending at first...but when i wached it again...and understood it...it is really the most amazing ending possible for the show...we really would not have been satisfied with the boring u c tony get shot ending...this was priceless...remember..this was not an action show...it was a drama about a FAMILY....

I thought Chase had a few people at the edge of their seats, and to be relieved at the end. In my opinion Tony did not get killed at the end, the true Mafia rules are: family can not be touched, let alone a boss get killed in front of his family. Phil got killed because a the families agreed he was getting out of hand. He was killed in front of his family because he was in hiding. Tony was out of hiding, he could of gotton killed at anytime.
Bottom line Tony was back to having what he always wanted his family together. And why did the not eat at Artie's returant, because they had to look like the ' ALL American Family' .

See i didn't want Tony to get killed and alot of people didn't want that. I wanted more action and others to get killed, again the ending would be fine with me if there was alot of action before it. But to have that ending when nothing happened before was just a let down

so i was just talking about this with my brother and he had a really good thought on the ending...it's like WE got 'whacked' - it all just went black and who knows what really happened - i thought that was interesting and seemed kind of 'sopranos-ish' - plus i thought the music throughout the whole episode was great!

I was so nervous at the end wondering what was going to happen! I really thought something was going to happen to Meadow!
Anyway...I thought it was a good episode!!! It DEFINITELY left you hanging and I TOTALLY thought something happened to my tv BUT I think there will be a movie in the future....I HOPE!!!

I don't watch the Sopranos (I don't have HBO ) but that ending sounds crazy!

they're trying to be all artsy and hidden meanings and to think about it, and i understand that sometimes when there is soooo much expectation for something and all this build up that whatever you do it might not be good enough and the unknown can be so much better...just like in scary movies its scarier alot of times when you dont see it as opposed to seeing a ridiculous monster...or when they say in shows and movies about something that happened that was real bad or something real bad someone said they wont say what it was bc by peoples reactions and the whole hush hush of it that makes it even interesting as to wow what can be that bad, rather than saying something and having others say eh thats not THAT bad. Or like the whole alfred hitchcock movies

but they should've given a little something to the audience, and i think they thought they were doing that with Phil but that was just such a tiny part of the show

This was posted on myspace, I did like the episode, howver I'm still in the need for closure!
OK, at first I was really angry. I mean really, really angry. I can't believe though that no-one has posted by now what happened. The only thing I saw that was right, was that in the last scene we are seeing through Tony's eyes. Remember when he was speaking with Bobby...basically saying that you don't see it happening?

So here is what I found out. The guy at the bar is also credited as Nikki Leotardo. The same actor played him in the first part of season 6 during a brief sit down concerning the future of Vito. That wasn't that long ago. Apparently, he is the nephew of Phil. Phil's brother Nikki Senior was killed in 1976 in a car accident. Absolutely Genius!!!! David Chase is truly rewarding the true fans who pay attention to detail.

So the point would have been that life continues and we may never know the end of the Sopranos. But if you pay attention to the history, you will find that all the answers lie in the characters in the restaurant. The trucker was the brother of the guy who was robbed by Christopher in Season 2. Remember the DVD players? The trucker had to identify the body. The boy scouts were in the train store when bobby got shot last week and the black guys at the end were the ones who tried to kill Tony and only clipped him in the ear (was that season 2 or 3?). Car jack episode

Absolutely incredible!!!! There were three people in the restaurant who had reason to kill Tony and then it just ends. This was Chase's way of proving that he will not escape his past. It will not go on forever despite that he would like it to 'don't stop'. Not the fans!!! Tony would like it to keep going but just as we have to say goodbye, so does he. No more Tony and I guess we are supposed to be happy that Meadow didn't get clipped as well (she would have been between the shooter and Tony) since she is the only one worth a crap in that family.
