Hello,
Any newlyweds out there have a 'worst wedding gift story?' I know there have been a great deal of posts as how much to give to the happy couple.

OMG!!!! $25???? couldn't they have at least made in $75 LOLOL. What are these people thinking???

As for bouncec Checks, I went to a wedding in 2005, bride said one of her 'No' responses showed up to cocktail hr. then leaves. She gives them a check for $50 & it bounced!!!!!!!!!

we didn't get any 'bad' gifts... BUT we did get gyped by a couple families. like friends of my parents who have 3 grown kids baout DH and I's age... all with good full time jobs. one of the 'kids' brought her boyfriend. and they gave us a small amount for all 6 of them! the GROWN kids did not even give us their own cards or small gifts!! i mean seriously!
and the funny part is now the girl and her boyfriend are engaged, so i told my mom we're gonna do the same thing to them at their wedding!

We got what is now our 3rd coffee pot regardless of the fact that we registered a day after getting engaged and um, there wasn't a coffee pot on there.

From my husbands side, 5 family members (three who have good jobs and are over 21)...came to our wedding..(even though the invitation stated the two names of his cousins and not the entire family...gave us a card from the family with $60.00....and funny thing is now his cousin's son is engaged and is having a huge wedding...and we just received the save the date magnet...wondering what we are going to give them...
