Would anyone know if you need a car to get around Aruba?

Don't want to book one if I don't have to!

We didn't book one....we just took cabs....and did a lot that way. I prefer not to bother with one if I dont have to.

We didn't get a car when we were there either. It wasn't too expensive taking a cab into town. We did say when we go back we do want to rent a car for a day to drive around the island and see things. So maybe you should think about that. I definately don't think you need one the whole time though.

We rented a jeep because there are so many things to do there that are off-roading. It was much easier for us to rent a car. If we were going out at night to drink we cabbed it

You don't really need to rent a car. We just came back from there and we took alot of cabs, they were pretty reasonable. We did do the jeep tour one day and we were able to see the whole island, it was great Where are you staying while your there?

I haven't booked yet - I am looking for a good all-inclusive deal! A few girls on LIW gave me some contacts, but I am always looking for more!

We are just renting a jeep for the day to go cruising. Not the whole week IMO.
