if one of your BM's told your MOH that she 'decided' that she is bringing her 3 year old to your shower?? Maybe its the mood i am in today, or maybe its this person in particular, but i think thats pretty rude. not to mention she has a 1 yr old that she has apparently 'decided' not to bring, so why cant whoevers watching the 1 yr old, watch them both??? This is also the person that thought it was a good idea to bring her then 2 1/2 yr old bm dress shopping with us, and then proceeded to yell at her the whole time we were there because, i donno, bridal reflections was not a place for a 2 1/2 yr old to be roaming around for 2 hours?
seriously? is it me? i can handle it

Re: would you be annoyed?
I think that is innappropriate... one of my friends asked if she could bringher 6 month old to my shower!!!!!
I asked her is there a reason why you want to bring him? She said she wants to breast feed him!!!!!! UMMMM double inappropriate!!!
Then I have another'friend' who is pregnant and due around my shower.. and she is so tactless and nervy... that I have to make sure she doesn't bring her newborn. I dont even want her there in all honesty... I am hoping that she goes into labor the night before!!!!
I feel your pain and yes I would be annoyed!!

Re: would you be annoyed?
FH just sent her an email to put her in her place. I LOVE HIM. He told her that i dont want any children there and that we both have cousins that have small children that were NOT INVITED because we dont want kids there, that will be highly insulted when they see another 3 yr old running around.
seriously, my blood was boiling earlier. This on top of the fact that i have been contemplating for months whether or not i should out this BM for other reasons. i still want to, but i think its a little late now.

what is hysterical to me about this post is that this BM told my MOH that SHE was 'tackles' for telling her where she can and cannot bring her kids. Yes, she meant TACTLESS. meanwhile, thats exactly what she is on many levels. and the fact that she spelled it wrong absolutely kills me lolllllllllllllllll

Re: would you be annoyed?
Honestly, I think shes doing it to start a fight.
Obvi I'm the one that had words to her, but she might get slapped at the shower. Shes barking up the WRONG tree with me.
If she said, hey do you mind if I bring ____? I probably would've reacted differently...but it was 'I DECIDED' i'm bringing. How bout if I decided to bring my friend, my mom, and 3 aunts. Then what? Are we just doing whatever we want?
And I even tried to be nice and tell her her kid is cute and that I didn't want the attention off the bride for a second. Shes in the BP for chrissakes!!!!!!!

Re: would you be annoyed?
I have to say Im going throught the samething and my mom want tell my MOH, she mentioned it to her not me. Her Step-daughter who is 9 asked if she could go and my MOH said yes and I DONT want kids there. she is going to the wedding isnt that enough? I only want my JR BM to be there... which her step daughter asked if she could be in my wedding . I just find it annoying cause if she asked me I would say no. Did I mention the fact that she will be up my MOH butt the whole day!!! I am a parent and when I went to her shower I did not bring my son nor have a babysitter considering my whole family was there and there was no one around, thank God he was mature enough to be left alone. If you are able to say to her that you have a baysitter anyway for your other child why not leave the other one with the babaysitter as well, I would say it. JMO

I wouldn't care about the kid being at the shower, but I would make it CLEAR that the kids CANNOT come to the wedding. if she's pulling this crap now, she might pull it again later.
I agree. It wouldn't bother me if there were children at my shower. Mind the fact that I am not a huge fan of kids. But I definitely would NOT want someone just 'deciding' to bring their children to the wedding. Oh hell no.

it has recently gotten even better.....
MOH sent her an email suggesting maybe she rethink her 'decision' seeing as though its not really the place for a 3 yr old and that she might be busy with other things aside from chasing after said 3 yr old all day, at which point the BM responded that it doesnt matter who is watching her 1 yr old, that she WILL be bringing her 3 yr old with her on Sunday.
HAVE YOU EVER!!!!!!! HOW OBNOXIOUS???
i seriously want to give her my 2 pennies, but i'm not even supposed to know about any of this. I am so aggravated right now.
boy,she has a set of brass ones
LOL omg a set of brass ones
Wow, but how selfish- that would really put a damper on my shower b/c I would be really annoyed with her!
