But I could also understand if other brides told them how to wear their hair. At least for the purpose of looking uniform in pictures.
yeah i agree - i am a BM in my friend's wedding and i will wear a banana in my hair if she would like me to
i am just curious bc i considered myself an EXPERT bridesmaid and no one ever asked me to do anything special

I'm having the girls wear an updo since I'm wearing my hair half-up half-down. They're all family and they already said they don't mind.

I have been just asked (I was a bridesmaid) to have my hair up- didn't matter what style just had to be up.
I wouldn't ask them to have their hair a particular way- just as long as they didn't do anything nuts to it or overshadowing me....lol

I know my girls would do something nice with their hair so im not worried about it
I would be affraid if one of my girls was the type that never does anything with her hair and it was down straight and firzzy... just looks sloppy in my opinion.

Im so laid back when it comes to this type of stuff. Im going to let them do whatever they want with their hair. I dont even care if they all get their hair professionally done or not. As long as they don't look like they just rolled out of bed, Im cool with it. I dont even know if Im going to make them all wear the same dress even! I want everyone to do their own thing and just be comfortable with how they look.

I have always wanted everyone to have all of their hair down and if I was going to do a fall wedding then I would have requested it, but since it can potentially be 100 degrees in July I will leave it up to them...I just dont want any 'prom-like' up-do's.

yeah i agree with most people here..i kind of rather them have updos if i decide to go with the half up- half down look..but truthfully i dont even care..as long as they get there haid and makeup done ill be happy...i feel bad even making them do that lol..2 of my bridesmaids dont have a lot of money so i feel bad asking..but i figure if they say they really cant pay..ill just put in for them as part of their gift or something
