I don't think so. I love celebrating Bdays so I wouldn't want something to overshadow it. haha I''m such a kid!

I'm actually getting married the day after my birthday (bday is the 6th, the wedding is the 7th). A lot of people were making a big deal about it to me - asking me why I'd want to do it so close to my bday, now I'm gonna get gipped with gifts from the FH, etc.
We didn't intentionally plan it, that date just worked best with us and our hall. We got engaged in Sept, wanted to do the wedding within a year or so, I wanted to avoid October because of baseball, and we didn't want to go too far into November, so we went with the first Friday in November.
I kind of like the idea of celebrating 2 days of me back to back. Haha. And they told me they'd get a cake for me at the reception and sing Happy Bday, which is cute. It'll be like a quick 2 min thing.
I'm not too concerned with the present thing cause I've been with FH for 7 years now, and we always exchange bday gifts of course, but as each anniversary kept coming, we didn't really do gifts. Just went out to dinner to celebrate. So I can see that happening while we're married too.

we thught about it cause my bday is Jan 31 and his is Feb 2...we were thinkig about doing it feb 1st.....but we figured nah we want our birthdays to ourselves lol

def not...i didnt even want to get married on my moms bday!!! one place we were looking at only had her bday open, and i was like nope, and she was like 'i really don't mind' and i was just like 'well thank you very much, however, i am too selfish and on my anniversary, i want to celebrate mine and FH's day and not your day' i think she took offense, which i feel badly about, but i want our day to be our day and our day only

definitely not!
Not only because I wouldn't want to share my birthday with our wedding anniversary, but because my birthday is december 22nd and thats so close to Christmas! I already feel like I've been sharing my birthday with Christmas my whole life!

i totally wouldn't. me and my fiance have the same birthday. we even had our engagement party on our birthday (it just so happened that alot of family would be in town that weekend) and it just suucked!
i hate sharing my birthday period.. so i can't imagine having it be our anniversary too lol

I wanted a fall wedding and I'm a fall baby so as far as away from my bday as possible is what I wanted for FH's wallet of course

My birthday is Christmas day so there's no way I would have ever even considered getting married then! In fact, our dating anniversary was Dec. 20th and DH's bday is Jan 2nd so we wanted to avoid at ALL costs having our wedding during the Christmas/New Year's holidays.
