starting to get nervous that i made the wrong decision....would you guys go to a wedding the day after new years day? for me its going to be a sunday and will be over by 9pm. Are most people away during that time?
FH and I are really saving by doing it then and we didnt want to do it before xmas since we didnt want to make our families travel with the stress of xmas and all. We are going to send out STDs way in advance and we figured that most of our friends from OOT will come to NY to spend new years and stay on for the wedding. But now i'm second guessing myself..... :(

I don't really see a difference but I think if you are worried about people possibly leaving early I would say go ith 2-8...that way people won't have anything to complain about. It's your wedding. Once you give people a heads up they usually will make plans to make it thee regardless so do what YOU want to do.
