would you pay $65 for flip flops?- UPDATE!!

Ok. So I bought shoes, but I am still so afraid of them being uncomfortable. I want to have something to change into. I found these, they are made with swarovski crystals, but it seems like an insane amount of $$ to spend on flip flops. The other shoes I bought were $45. Do you think this is something I could try making myself? I am so not crafty.

UPDATE: I can't believe how many responses I got to this post LOL!! I would have never paid that much for flip flops, it really is totally insane. But I did buy some last night, I got them for $10. FH were walking around Manhattan last night and I went into a couple of shoe stores, and as we were leaving one, the guy at the door 'invited' me to go upstairs to their special sale. Lo and behold they had all their flip flops up there for cheap cheap!! So I got these, but in white. What a savings!! I just found the pic on the zappos website, and they are $35 dollars.

I'm all for splurging for the wedding but not for flip flops...you could easily make those yourself with a glue gun, crystals from a craft store and cheap flip flops. Just make sure the flip flops you buy aren't too cheap...sometimes they break easily. Old Navy has pretty good quality.

I don't think I would have paid $65

but they way my feet hurt- they would have been worth it

remember you are going to be in shoes HOURS before the actual wedding begins- and standing still to take pics

your feet are going to hurt- no matter what- the flip flops would have helped me

steve madden made flip flops just like them this summer (i had them in black) they were $25. i agree $65 is a bit much for flip flops.

check ebay or amazon.com - see if they have anything similiar.

I got similiar ones that you posted in the first post...They are not swarkoski crystals but they were $8 in Target...

IMO, no one will know why kind of crystals they are!

I probably would, they're cute and I'd wear them again.

I bought Reef Flip flops in ALL white. I'd been wearing Reefs all summer and they were so comfy. I guess I could have decorated them more but I didn't.

white high (platform) flip flop - old navy or jcrew.. $10

little bag of gems from AC MOORE..$5

glue gun and glue sticks...$10

saving $40 on flip flops no one will ever see..PRICELESS....

sorry - had to be a dork....

its easy to put the crystal beads on... use a glue gun or crazy glue (be careful - wear gloves).. but no one will ever see them.. and you might wear flip flops again, but dont pay $45 for them..

Being that I can't even afford 10 dollars for gas right now, I would have to say the most I'd spend for flip flops would be $2.99. If I had the money for that...
