I'm so overwhelmed by my make-up vendor search. To add to my disappointment, I had a weird experience with one of the vendors that I'm most excited about. Sent her an are you available email and she wrote back explaining her services and ended one sentence with...and s**t like that.
Very casual reponse to say the least. She's a vendor that's raved about here (not to mention one of the cheapest on my list) but that really just turned me off from her. Rule her out and give her a chance?

I would give her a chance, but I would certainly be aware of it in the final decision stage.

I may be very picky but I know I wouldn't like it unless I had a personal relationship with the vendor. I picked most of my vendors based on how they presented themselves to me. It is very important to me. JMO

i wouldnt find this vendor to be very professional... that is a comment that usually people who are closer would use, not someone who is trying to gain your business, i wuld be cautious, but if you want to do a trial go for it

Personally, that would turn me off. People should present themselves profesionally and 'sh*t like that' is a far cry from professionalism in my opinion.

Who does that? I might rule the vendor out for this, not because I'm uptight, but just because I find it to be a very flakey thing to do. Totally unprofessional.

Wow....that would turn me off. How odd! Why would anyone write that to not only a stranger, but a potential customer?

It is very strange and unprofessional. But if everyone raves about her work and she does a great job, I would suck it up and try it out. Maybe she has a potty mouth but does awesome make up?
However if this was an unknown make up artist I would say forget it.

ewwwwww
I don't think that's very professional. I wouldn't use someone who communicated with me like that.
and if someone I already hired sent me an email saying that, I would be pissed. it's very unprofessional. IMO

I agree, it isnt the best way to present yourself when speaking to potential customers, BUT if everyone raves about this person, why not do a trial? You really have nothing to lose, and if it bothers you and you do want to hire her, just tell her it bothered you.
