I recently went to a wedding for a couple who are very close to FH and I. I know that they paid an insane amount of money per person but I got food poisoning from it and was sick for a week. I know when I see her after she gets back from her honeymoon she is going to ask me if I enjoyed the reception and the food. Should I tell her the truth that I got really sick or just smile and say that everything was wonderful?

I might call the RH and tell them that you got sick so they can make sure they fix whatever problem they had but I wouldn't tell the bride. There's nothing she can do about it now anyway.

You REALLY feel that is is SO necessary to tell her this, when she is in her newlywedded bliss...to now make her feel bad and think her wedding made people sick?

i wouldnt tell... I'm sure you were miserable for a few days, but I can't imagine being the bride and hearing something bad about the wedding after. You want your day to be perfect and i'm sure a few things will go wrong, but its better for the bride not to have one more thing to think went wrong. IMO

I wouldn't say anything because I know that if that happened to me I would feel bad. I know she spent alot of money but I dont think its worth knowing since nothing can be done about it.

I am sorry that you got sick at this wedding, but please realize that it is nearly impossible for just ONE person to get food poisioning. Maybe you had a bug of some sort, but I don't think it's fair to judge this girls wedding because you didn't feel well after.
Do you know of any one else that got sick?

Why would you tell the bride????? What is she going to do about it. NOTHING.
Smart thing to do would be calling the RH. Let them know about it. See if anyone else got sick.
