I saw great deals on these on Ebay but there was a 'read between the lines' part that said they werent responsible for any tarnishing that was on the bells, so that was a big no-no for me. I imagined getting them and they are all green or rusty. But if it was from a store where you could see them, I think they are cute!

I think they're really cute. But my friend had them at her wedding and no one used them.

jenny, I brought the small bells. I know that alot of people are probably not going to use them but I just figured that it would be an extra touch to the table.

I used the wedding bell on a card as my place cards - we wrote on the back of them. I found ones that are set-up as place cards after my wedding. I don't remember hearing anyone ringing them, but I thought they were cute and maybe some people held on to them after the wedding.

I am going to get the ones in the second picture from oriental trading - they had a great price for like 4 dozen of them- and what i am going to do is use them to fancy up the favors ( i am wrapping cds that i made in white paper and then dark crimson ribbon and then i will add the bells to the ribbon. ( I saw something like it in Martha Stewart Wedding)

i hope it looks nice

No offense, but those bells are a WASTE of money... I've been to weddings where they have either been left behind or you couldn't hear them.

hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they don't work. sorry i have gotten them @ a few weddings and we just keep ringing them and no noise comes out! cute idea, but no go.
