You should call 'Help me Howard', 'Ask Asa' or Fox 5's 'Problem Solvers'.

They'll get to the bottom of it!!!

(Fox 5 would LOVE IT!) AND i'm sure they'd get you your money back! (Check out their website)

I tried to get in touch with them for you, I know some people thre , but its thru friends and they told me they could not discuss many details...FH's aunt called and asked as well, they said they would get back to her, and said the BM she spoke to , he knew nothing about it...shes doesnt know the one you went thru, so my help was not so much..Sorry..

I would go there in person and ask for someone else, call and say you want an appointment about your wedding, dont have to tell who you are...I dont so much think they are avoiding you as they are 'passing the buck' and no -one has an answer ( just as bad though I think)

Also, someone mentioned to me , try listing the room availability of Craigslist.com...A friends whos wedding ( upsate NY) did that to advertise the rooms availability and it worked?

Godd luck..will let ya know if I ever hear anything...

How frustrating! You really don't need this... you've had enough. I am a Watermill bride and now I'll be watching them. Maybe what we could do is pick a date in the next week or two that we will all be by a phone. We could make up a schedule and each one of us take a half hour or a fifteen minute interval from when they open to when they close and call about the date. In an eight hour period they'll have forty calls.
We will drive the receptionist nuts and jam their phone lines from potential customers.

Sorry, but I hate injustice... wow, I can be evil.

I think that the best idea would be to go there in person, at least that way they cannot ignore you.

I hate to say it, but if this is stressing you out this much and causing you so much grief, then you MUST make the time to go in person. Also, don't wait for a callback. Call them everyday until you reach someone. Call 10 times a day if you have to.

If you really want to get attention, park outside of the place with a sign that says don't book your wedding here. Then people will stop and ask you why or at least they will get negative attention. The street is public property and they will probably pay you not to do that. It's free speech!

Maybe you could leave a message telling them that since you paid for a party of 50, they should plan on going ahead with it, and you will just collect random people off the street to come in and fill the hall. Maybe that would encourage them to at least call you back.....

tell them you are going to bring 50 homless people there to enjoy the 'party' maybe that would get their attention.

Have you spoken to a lawyer? Maybe if they get some letters on lawyers letterhead it might help.
