That happened to me too!! I was getting my senior protrait taken and, again, the boy I had a crush on was getting it done at the same time (because I was on the yearbook staff and I scheduled us together!!) The robe thingy was being held up by a clothes pin. When the photographer went to adjust it, it slid right down into my lap and it was just me, my bra, my crush, and an overwhelming sense of embarrassment that would haunt me until graduation.

You know what's even worse.... I had campaigned to have those robe things for the senior protraits because 'everyone will look really sophisticated'. Or, you know, like a topless dancer.

Freshman year, only one or two months into the school year of a new school. It was F period and I was in math class with Brother Shane. On this particular day we were taking a test and I had to sneeze, so I did. I put my hand over my mouth and nose to cover, like we are supposed to After the sneeze before I pulled my hand down I knew it was very wet and I was already starting to panick about what to do since I did not have any tissues. However, when i finally took my hand down I realized it was blood and the force of my sneeze had projected to blood ruined my test and ruined the test of each person sitting besides me! My nose was bleeding so hard before I could even realize what was going on my nice white catholic school uniform shirt was drenched and soaked through with blood. I had to walk around the rest of the day like that because the school had no more extra shirts.
As if that was not enough...the same scenario repeated itself every day for a week when finally school called my parents and told them that I was not allowed back until I went to a DR. My parents took me to a dr and I had to have my nose cortirized which means they burned the end of my blood vessels closed
I was called all kinds of gross blood names for the rest of the year.

First day of high school we all had to get this shot because someone had contracted meningitis. They piled us into the auditorium and one by one each student went up on stage, got the shot, and walked off. I have this insane fear of needles. I walked up to the stage, got the shot, stood up, and then passed out in front of an audience full of high school students. The band teacher had to carry me up to the nurse's office.

There are so many funny things...I think the best was when I fell asleep in class, but I rolled out of my desk & took it to the floor with me before I woke up.

When I was a sophomore, I went to the Newsday marching band festival at Hofstra. Before getting on the bus, I downed my McDonald's meal and as a result, got a really bad headache and then got nauseous. I had to use the bathroom, but the line wrapped around the stadium. So finally, after suffering through the whole night with this painful headache and nausea, we were lined up for the closing ceremony where all of the bands play a song together. Well, right on the 10 yd line I tossed my fries!!!

For years after, people in my marching band would call out 'who yakked on the 10 yd line?'

It was funny but embarrassing!

I missed you by just a year...I was there from 1994-1997. I don't remember anyone booting on the fields, but I could be wrong. Xjulietx....what year was it?



p.s. I am such a dork....on the yearbook staff AND in marching band. Why didn't I join the chess team and be done with it!

LMAO...I was in Band, and Drama.....not on yearbook though.


DH was in band also, but our school was all backwards....we had jocks & 'toughguys' in band..it was kinda wierd...
