I think 'love' by definition can't exist at first sight. To truly love a person you need to know them in order to appreciate even those bad things and still love them. I do believe in getting a 'sense' about a person at first sight but not love.

I don't believe in fate either (man, I sound like such a cynic). The idea that all things are predetermined just makes no sense to me because we still make choices every day. Now some would say that it was 'fate' that you made those choices...but that's just a circular argument, and it indicates that there's no such thing as free will. People say it was 'fate' that way I met my husband but we find it more of a strange coincidence.

I definitely believe in fate. I feel it was fate that I met my DH. My older brother passed away 8 years ago and when I met DH I found out that he shared the same birthday as my brother, they also had the same middle name. And DH proposed to me on the anniversary of my brothers death. There are also a few other things. I truly believe my DH was a gift sent to me by my brother!!

No..I belive you choose your own fate. Mainly that you will ALWAYS have an option...free will some might call it....so do I believe in a little bit of already destined fate, yes, but what I think is different is Fate means ..thats it..no other way it could have been and thats what I dont believe in.

I think some things were 'meant to be' and I believe everyhting happens for a reason. I don't believe in love at first sight, because that's not love, it's something else. there can be an attraction and a very strong connection at first sight, but love comes with time, IMO, even if it's a week..LOL..

I believe in everything definitely happening for a reason, whether it be large or small.

I do not believe in LOVE at first sight. I believe in LUST at first sight. I believe you can know you are going to marry someone (secretly) after a first date, both me and my FH did.

I do not believe in signs, or fate, or things like that.
