I'm not 100%, but if I remember correctly, anything with an envelope is not considered a postcard. But that being said, I had to go to three post offices because I kept getting different quotes lol so I can def be mistaken.

our STDs were postcards, but we didnt want the 'aloha' stamps so we just paid the regular stamp price

OMG hahaha, we used the Aloha stamps! So cheesy, I know. I have to say I have been overall disapointed with the 2012 stamp choices. I forgot what it was, but we needed a stamp for something wedding related and the only stamp they had at the PO in that denomination Birds or Prey or something super strange. I was like to the lady 'ughhhh this doesnt really go with my theme..'

Cute idea! We did our STD's post cards...My only caution and I hate to even say it because I dont want you to get worried or anything, and hopefully it isn't an issue for you... But we had a TON of people who never got the STD or got them literally, no joke, 2-3 months after they were sent out. So I wouldn't freak out if you don't get some RSVP's back on time. It could just be the post office not your guests.
