One more thing crossed off my list before we move east - we rode our bikes over the Golden Gate bridge. It was the perfect day for it - incredible weather!
days like this make me aware of how much I'll miss SF...
(we've been wanting to do it for months, but the bridge is often foggy)

the craziest experience we've had with the PCH 1 was driving up tp tomales bay on motorcycles! - that was hairy.
I think GGB is only 2 miles, but I'm really not sure. We were out riding around for a few hours, stopping at places here and there and riding along the bay for a bit after the bridge.

we've done Monterey & Carmel a bunch of times (we were down there recently at the aquarium). Been to San Diego once - very nice, loved the gaslamp district.
We may hit up LA again before we leave to see Al's sister, but she'll be in NY for Christmas so its not a priority.
oh, hawaii was on that list too, but we took care of that

thats so great Lisa...biking a bridge is TOUGH!!! I did the Brooklyn Bridge ONCE...yup thats it...and that has to be tiny compared to GG

Great pics! We took the same trip on the beginning of our HM. I'm petrified of bridges and heights, but DH insisted I go - we had the best time too - gorgeous views!
(we cheated and took the ferry back from Sausalito )
