Let me start by saying that during my time on this board I have posted negative things about my sister in law, this was brought to my Sister in law's attention, she called me on it and I told her straight out yes your right, I wrote them and I'm sorry. I had my Brother his Wife and their baby and my parents at my house last night arguing about this, and other issues, BS that shouldnt have to happen because I was either venting or telling what was bothering me at that time.
Now on to You, I do know who you are it wasnt hard to figure out, but I wont call you out on it. Your a friend of my sister in law fine, but you had absolutely NO RIGHT to get in the middle of a family. You cause a bigger chasim in our lives that I'm sure in time would have been forgotten about and things would have been fine, now my relationship with my brother is strained, my brother and I were super close, as close as any brother and sister could be. He was like a second father to me and truth be known I wanted him and my father to walk me down the aisle, now because of you thats over and done with. My sister in law, i know will never forgive me and that makes what relationship we did have dead, and that in turn affects my relationship with my niece. Things were left like ok fine its over, but we all know deep inside that its not. I just want to thank you, for causing all of this you need to mind your own business. And I'm sure that you'll be sure to tell my SIL about this, so Gina I again say to you that I'm sorry but I could not let this die with this girl and I had to let her know.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. Perhaps it was wrong to vent negative things on a public chat board, but Stacey - I think you are the better person for admitting it to your family and trying to make it right. I hope that in time, things will get better for you, your brother and SIL. We are all human and we all make mistakes.
Whoever the 'snitch' is....I am sure you thought you were being 'cute' by spreading gossip - afterall, there are people who get off on being 'in the know' on someone else's crap. But, you crossed a major line with what you did! Just remember - what goes around...comes around (and usually, it gets worse!)

It's a public chat board....and everything we post here becomes public information. We just all have to keep THAT in mind when we are venting about personal lives.

Stacy im sorry that this happened to you. I always have fears about people I know visiting the site because of the 'venting'. I wont wear my LIW shirt in public and i wont let anyone know the exact address of the site...

I agree - it's impossible to believe that what's said here stays here! That's what I was trying to get at earlier....because this is a public board in the internet and not a group of close friends quietly chatting in the privacy a someone's home, unfortunately others, with nothing else better to do, can come on here and read what we have all posted. It's not right but that's the reality of chat boards.
It doesn't make it right for anyone to meddle in to other's lives though.

I only post on here what I would say to my inlaws face if they read it, it was meant for them to hear and probably all the better or worse for our relationship.
I don't know what kind of pleasure someone would get out of doing something like this. He who gossips with you will gossip about you.

I agree with the LIW T-shirt! I haven't worn it in front of my DH yet, because then he'll know the web address, and might go poking around! Another reason why I deleted all my recent venting posts.
I guess in one way, it shows us that if we have an issue with someone, we really need to speak to them directly and work it out. I know I'm guilty of posting feelings here that I should have confronted my DH with first. But sometimes you just aren't ready to do that, but still need to get those feelings out. It's too bad this isn't the place to do that anymore. Actually, it never was.
