How much it cost? Just curious...

I have NO IDEA how much my ring was and lately after some comments from friends i have been stressing about how much my fiance might have spent! i don't want to ask him but i am wondering...am i in the minority? Do most girls know how much their ring was?

I know how much it cost. We live together and share accounts...it be pretty hard to hide
Don't worry about how much your FH spent, unless you're afraid he went into debt and the two of you will be paying it off for a while. Even so, it doesn't matter b/c you can't ask him to take it back Just enjoy. But, make sure there is an appraisal (you don't have to see it necessarily) so that he can have insurance taken out on it.

Why do you want to know so bad.

Its not like someoen gave him the ring and he didn't buy it himself.
He worked hard to save and buy the ring for you!
It wasn't a hand out..

I know what mine appraised at but I have no idea what he actually spent. He never told me and I could never ask.

i found a website where you can build a diamond ring and it gives you the color clarity and size of the diamond AND the price!

i wish i had stopped snooping...who would have know that a ring could cost more than a car!

my ring is a family heirlom and the only thing it cost fh was to get it resized, and i went to pick it up when it was done so yes i know how much it cost.

I think you should know!! maybe not during the engagement time...but I think you should be aware of how much your ring is...

I know b/c of the appraisal (but beware...some appraisals are higher than what DH/FH actually paid)...and b/c I know this...I am very careful to turn it around when I am on the subway...etc...
