Bridal Shower Suggestions in NYC?

Has anyone been to or held a bridal shower in NYC? I'm helping a friend locate a place to hold a bridal shower.

Upper East Side or Midtown East would be the most convient! But am open to outside of those neighborhoods!

My shower wasin the city, but downtown. It was at a tea salon called Lady Mendls. It is in a lttle hotel - the Inn at Irving Place I think. Good luck!

Try essex, the price is real good

Thor lounge-i wonder if you can have a shower there though, you can call and find out...they do have a restaurant area in the back

Ammos-its a greek restaurant and its nicely decorated and different looking

Tavern on the green has a small room, about up to 50 people. And its not expensive actually...the big room is but this room isn't.

are you looking for a restaurant that will provide everything?...or also unique locations but you would have to do work such as getting the food and stuff

Uva on 77th and 2nd...this place is adorable and they have a private room downstairs for parties.

aah! Fellow Upper East Sider! Great! Alice's teacup is great. There is also Sfoglia, Cafe Buon Gusto (has a backyard if the shower is during warm weather). I'm trying to think of private rooms Let me brainstorm

thats the hard part...i go to restaurants and don't even notice if there are private rooms sometimes hahaha
