I have !! Exit 11N off the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn NY! (Mill Basin area). We went to two weddings there and I must say - the food was VERY VERY good.
Cocktail hour was amazing - so much to choose from.
The service was good and the rooms were big.
Definitely check it out if you're interested!

I'll go check it out next week along w/ Russo's. Is the cuisine Italian? We went to Marina Del Rey today and was quoted 182pp and I looooove the hall. I'm just not crazy about the room (Bellagio). I wanna go back though to get a better idea of how it would look. They had a party today and it was hard to see. My mom said that it looked as if the dance floor was small. But my first impresssion didn't make me do flips. I gotta go check it out again...maybe the type of party didn't give me such an accurate picture. This is so stressful.

Ditto! Acutally we were going to look there.
FH is NYPD and in Columbia Association that have meetings there. The food is amazing and place is beautiful. It does get pricey but I hear worth it.
We didnt look due to the location of it and how majority of our family is here in LI.

I have been there a few times. The food is awesome. I am biased because my parents neighbor is the chef there. It is a great place.

I have been there for a wedding and it was lovely. I can't comment on the food because the wedding was an orthodox Jewish wedding where they brought in food from an outside caterer.

Do you know if they have an outdoor section? What the price range is? Also, do they have that big grand entrance for the bride and groom? Here's a really dumb question- isn't el caribe something in spanish?

My MIL lives right over there... she has been to many parties there and said it was wonderful. BIL used to work there in college as part of the waitstaff, and he said the place is wonderful too, and clean. HTH

Re: El Caribe Country Club? Has anyone heard of this hall?
Thanks for your help ladies. Why is it that certain halls aren't listed in books for example, I haven't seen Russo's or Marina Del Rey. By the way does el caribe have an outdoor section?

Re: El Caribe Country Club? Has anyone heard of this hall?
I have been to the El Cribe a couple of years ago for a christmas party. They have one of the best cocktail hours i have ever been to. Very good food. The only drawback of it is it is located in a very industrial area, but otherwise it is a great place. Along the lines of Russo's. Worth checking out if the location doesn't bother you.

AMAZING< AMAZING< AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The best place I've ever been, the only reason why I am not having my wedding there is that it is too far for me. It is also too much $$$ for me or I'd be there

Hey Rina...some of these halls don't pay to advertise that's why you'll never see an ad for them. They rely on word of mouth.
