Rehearsal dinner in garden city or nearby

Hi everyone! I need suggestions for rehearsal dinner restaurants near garden city or anywhere in nassau county for around 40 people. I would love romantic or fancy looking places. I was thinking even freeport since they have outdoor :)

or is it rude to make the dinner outside garden city if the church is the st joseph in garden city? so confused

Novita, seventh street cafe, Waterzooi, city cellar, grimaldis does parties but not a private room- further east by the mall cafe formaggio, seasons 52. I've also heard of west end cafe in carle place and passione. I haven't been to all of them but the majority are usually recommended for parties.

All of these!!! And La Nonna Bella is great also.

Mine was at Revel in garden city !!!! They did an amazing job!! We did a brunch with unlimited mimosas bloody Mary's etc it was so great

Novita is great! I want to have mine there since that's where our first date was! We want to do a brunch instead of dinner on Saturday since our wedding is a Sunday day wedding.

I'm getting married at St. Joe's too :)

I echo all the other suggestions in GC - Novita, Revel, Seventh St Cafe, Walk Street, Waterzooi are all great! I grew up in Garden City so I've been to all of these many times.

My first date was there too! And we had our brunch engagement party there.
