bugging out

so im a hypochrondiac. big time. a few months ago I noticed a little lump on my upper thigh/by my butt. DH thought it was a pimple, but it didnt look like one. I thought maybe it was a little cyst. I have one on my neck that is nothing. It didnt hurt so I would forget to ask my dr about it.

The other day Fri or Sat I noticed it was bigger and redder and hurting a little bit. It has been getting more swollen and redder and hurting more and more. It looks so werid...like bluish inside. I thought it was a blood clot (I am prone to them). I called the derm yesterday and she could only meet me Thurs.

I was in more pain today and I called and said it was really hurting so they moved it to tomorrow. I am bugging out about what it is. My mom thinks it's an infected cyst or something.. It is killllllling me.Part of me wants to go to the ER right now, but i guess i should wait until the derm tomorrow. I'm scaredddd of what they are going to do to get rid of it...and i want to know wth it is!

aw relax.
try soaking it with a washcloth. that may help with the swelling & pain.

I can be the same way sometimes, but I've never had anything like that before so I don't know how to help. Just some hugs.

good luck! try to sleep off the worry and pain tonight and hopefully the doctor has answers for you tomorrow. since its on your thigh hopefully its nothing and maybe just got irritated by clothing or natural movement of your skin.

Thanks girls! It really hurts. So it's an infected cyst. She said maybe it was an ingrown hair. SHe said it's pretty bad now, but put me on antibiotics and said it will take a few days since he got so infected and big to start feeling better. She also gave me a cream. I just want it to go away.
