I never thought of it as my style. Plus I just know about 3 people in my neighborhood and we moving soon. So not something I would personally do!

I think they are cute!!

i got one for my brother when my newphew ryan was born, and i got one for my brother last week when little aiden was born, with a big brother ryan one with it!!!!
and im sure my brother would do the same for me when i have kids!

i think people gotta stop living in fear over everything!!! and just celebrate the great things in life!

my neighbors said the exact same thing. They are a corner house and the majority of their property is to the side. They have alittle 3 ft picket fence and all their kids toys out on the side in plain sight. i really felt like saying to them, 'ur worried about a stork, but the playhouse, slid, swingset, balls, bats, bicycles are really fighting child predators off' lol

I would never put one up in a million years, but it's not because I think anyone would steal anything. people would see you're going to be home more, if anything. my reasoning for not doing one is that I don't even like balloons or anything cutesy...i'm an oddball .

I personally really do not like them. I do not think they are an invitation for someone to steal your baby they are just not my kind of thing.

i never thought of that either.... i dont know if i would do it... obviously if i have a baby that young... either im home with them or they are out with me... i dont think there is a 'baby stealing' chance... Jessie might rip their throat out either way

i don't think someone is going to steal my baby, but i have never been into the stork thing and neither is DH. I guess I think its strange to give all that info to strangers that drive by... but I don't think the strangers will come take my baby b/c of it! Everyone who wants/needs to know will know without the the stork!

I didn't have one for my son but I really wanted one for my daughter so I got one. I loved it!! ITA that people get too paranoid sometimes. It was a wonderful way to let my neighbors know about our new bundle of joy!

Probably not I personally don't like them (no offense to anyone who does) I never thought of the danger factor they brought up. I would probably just put a balloon or two outside.

thats like saying dont put xmas decorations outside of your house because someone might want to break into your house for all the gifts
