DH is gonna be VERY happy tonight!

I've been so grouchy lately so I decided that I'm going to surprise him with his favorite meal ever!

I found the 'secret' recipe for Carabba's 'Pasta Weesie'. The thing is like 2000 calories but he LOVES it!

Carrabba's Pasta Weesie


8 jumbo shrimp
1/4 cup sauteed mushrooms
pinch minced garlic
1 tablespoon sliced green onions
1/4 cup lemon butter
1/2 cup alfredo sauce
1/2 cup grated romano cheese
heavy hand of fettucine
.
Saute the shrimp until nearly done. Add garlic, green onions and mushrooms.
Finish with lemon butter.

In a seperate pan, warm alfredo to simmer. Add cooked fettucine and romano
cheese. Plate pasta and top with shrimp mixture.

yum! that sounds so rich and decadent! definitely something DH would like, thanks for sharing!

thanks for sharing, that really does sound good! the other day i went to Kohls and they had this cookbook that shared all the secret receipes of popular restaurants. the only reason i bought it was b/c they had the receipe for Chili's Southwestern Rolls - but they sound more complicated to make than if i were to just go to Chili's and buy them
