Each Moment Is the Universe

Is the name of the film my classmate has in the Tribeca Film Festival!!!! He is getting is MFA but NYU allows you to cross-register classes so he is currently in my 'Communication for Consultants' class.

He showed up to class on Thursday night wearing his festival access badge so my professor made him stand up in front of the class and tell us all about his film and his amazing accomplishment!

Synopsis of the film:

Solitary dreamer Chok dies on a farm one summer day and is reborn again. He is overjoyed by this second chance at life and seeks to make the world a better place. But, as he grows up, his ideals drift away. Decades later, a surprising coincidence will take him somewhere he could never imagine. This is a coming-of-age tale that spans many lifetimes.

The Director (my classmate):

BRUCE THIERRY CHEUNG is a Vietnamese French American director who has spent his life moving between Hong Kong and the US. At UC Berkeley, he earned a degree in architecture and worked on urban design projects in Asia and Europe. Currently, he is pursuing an MFA in film at New York University.
