Re: Hey Slow Cookers!

Beef stew was yummy - came out so hearty and the meat, I'm obsessed with how it falls apart!

I just made this random recipe lastnight, for today's lunch and tonight's dinner. I'll be eating it within the hour so I'll let you guys know how it tastes - but it's super healthy, and the chicken is literally falling apart:

All I did was:

1. 3 large chicken breasts (frozen)
2. About 1 pound of fresh spinach
3. About 5 tomatoes chopped up
4. Salt, pepper, garlic powder
5. About 10-12 oz of tomato sauce/marinara

Put the chicken on the bottom and put everything else on top and mixed it (while keeping chicken on bottom)

On low for 7 hours.

Okay! This was a success! It's very 'Fresh' and healthy tasting, but the chicken is soo tender, literally falls into pieces. So yummy. I paired it with some Smart Taste elbow macaroni, but this would go well w/ rice or mashed potatoes. Totally making this again.

You guys are awesome - everything sounds so delicious!!!

This is the one I got - I haven't used it yet but will start tonight! It was rated really high on Amazon so I chose it. I used to have a 4 qt manual one and I hated it, bought it really cheap and it didn't do the job. So excited to have this one!

I have this one too- and there is a fb page that literally posts HUNDREDS of crock recipes when you them-
I'll get you the name!

When I first got our crockpot- my DH and I were just dating still- we both came home from the office and as we were walking in I said, 'Mmmm the upstairs neighbor must be cooking something deliscious' DH said to me, 'Um it's coming from our house, remember???'

lol *hits head*
