Homeowners/People who are looking to buy a home
We look at a couple of houses every month or so just to see what's on the market, but we think we found one we might actually be interested in really learning more about. I know it's been asked before, but what kinds of questions should we ask?

Realtor. This is a house that we believe was bought in a foreclosure and the owner really transformed it to something truly fantastic. It doesn't look like anyone lives in it.

You are oos, no?Ask about the taxes, that could be a big expense. Fuel type / heating type. School district.

I agree with Roz- taxes and S.D were very important to us!!Try looking on the LIF home board- there are so many people on it that are very knowledgeable.

Yup, I live in PA! The SD is excellent (best in the county I live in), and the taxes are also shockingly lower than I expected for the town. Heat type is forced air and it has Central AC, that's good, right?

You might want to ask about things like how old the roof is, or the oil burner (if the house has one), etc., so you know if you'll have to incur additional costs after you move in to replace anything.Welcome New Vendors
