Re: How high were your heels and did they hurt? How much did you pay for them (and was it worth it)?

Mine were about 2.5 inches...I thought they were so cute and they were maybe $60..but they gave me blisters from hell, although I wore them longer than I should have before changing into flip flops - and you'll be able to see my flip flops in my garter pic too, but I don't care - if I had left my shoes on any longer I think my feet might have started bleeding .

I didn't bother with more expensive shoes because all the ones I liked had a 3 inch heel or higher and I didn't want to tower over DH.

I no way was paying a lot for my bridal shoes. I don't spend a lot on shoes normally so I was certainly not doing it for my wedding. I think mine were about $60 from eth Bridal Boutique shoe store in Carle Place.

That's the one mistake I made. My shoes were too uncomfortable and my feet were killing me even for the next 2 days after the wedding.

I think my shoes were 2 1/4' high (I'm not used to wearing heels since I'm pretty tall myself). It was an open-toed sandal with a block heel.

They were comfortable up until the reception (after about 4 hours of being in them). I wish I brought a pair of flats or sneakers with me!

I was sooo not paying a lot for my wedding shoes. I got them at Nordstrom for $60 and loved them. They were made by Nina and a little bit on the 'not traditional' side, but I loved them and wore them all day/night! I loved them and want to dye them black now so I can wear them at some upcoming weddings

My grandmother bought my shoes for me....I got them from Hazels on Bell Blvd. I think they cost $50. I didn't want to go crazy on shoes.

These were mine: Colorful Creations - 2 1/2in high and they didn't hurt me - I loved them. I paid about $70.
