Re: HOW MANY OF YOU
Actually i couldnt do it. I kept the top for a year but had a mini version of the top of our cake made up & brought it on our 1 year anniversary ski trip. Im a little weird about year old anything. So i got fresh. Red Velvet it was yummy. My friend makes a great one. She was so sweet to do it for us.

Re: HOW MANY OF YOU
We ate a big slice on our one-month anniversary and re-wrapped it for the one-year.I'm thinking it'll taste like @ss on the one-year anniversary, so I wanted a taste of it for the one-month mark

Re: HOW MANY OF YOU
We ate half of it the next day because neither of us actually got to eat a piece at the wedding. We saved the other half for our year anni

Re: HOW MANY OF YOU
We waited and I have to say it wasn't all that bad. And it was sweet and romantic. Both our parents ate their cakes on their one year anniversary and both our parents will be married 40 years next year. So we felt like it really was good luck.

Re: HOW MANY OF YOU
We didn't wait. I didn't want it to taste like crap. We probably waited a month or so then ate it with SIL and her BF.

Re: HOW MANY OF YOU
We are waiting for the 1 year to cut into it. I'm also going to go to the bakery that made DH's grooms cake to have a small cake made with the same flavors of his cake- it was soo yummy, and this way after eating a piece of our 1 year old cake, we will have fresh cake to eatWelcome New Vendors
