I'm parting with my dress this weekend

I am giving it to my SIL so she can make throw pillows out of it for me. I am having seperation anxiety about it! I know I will never wear it again and I wont have any daughters that would want it. But I have to keep thinking that this way I will always have a few pieces of it around the house.

But I still feel so sad.

But just think, you will still get to hold your dress all the time because she's making pillows, that is really special!!!! Better than just the dress hanging unused!

I know - i will get to see my dress in all rooms of the house. But I cant wait to see how they come out

Awww! But what an awesome bunch of keepsakes you'll have!!! You'll make use of the dress, instead of doing what most of us have done...shoved it in the closet and forgot about it.
