most common fights...

so they say that the most common thing that couples fight over is money ... is it true for you?


DH and I rarely ever fight about money. I think the fight we have most-often has to do with him falling asleep while we watch tv (it drives me crazy since he usually does it every single night ... i'm ok if it's just once in a while)

We don't fight about money either--DH is so good, especially since I'm unemployed at the moment

We usually argue over what to do for dinner. But I would say it's more bickering than anything else

Haha my brother and SIL argue about this too my brother can't stay awake for anything!

We never fight over money. We usually fight over the fact I am a workaholic but if I were home I would spend all the money.

we never fight over money and i seriously hope we never do. i let him know if i'm making a big purchase that's for me b/c i feel guilty but he's not innocent himself b/c he shops around too

We fight about chores. I asked you to do this, you were supposed to do that, etc

Sometimes we fight about money. Not often though. (As in he thinks we shouldn't buy anyone Christmas presents ...meanwhile we've spent about $700 and then he decided to chip in for his grandparents' new TV )

...anyway

Aside from that, we really only bicker about stupid things

Same. Like I can't stand how FH never pulls the curtain back to normal after he showers, and he hates how I push the garbage can all the way against the wall and then the lid won't open all the way up.

ETA: See...this just shows you how often I have been on here since the wedding. I called John FH instead of DH!

We don't typically fight about money, but since we are in the process of buying a home, we did have one NASTY fight having to do with the fact that the taxes on the house are more than he realized them to be (causing our monthly payment to be a bit higher). Yelling ensued, phrases such as 'do you want to buy this home or not?' were thrown around, all followed by the silent treatment.

The next day we both apologized and agreed that this could be one of the first hurdles we face as we become homeowners, so we really need to stick together as a team and not beat each other up because we're going to need each other!!

We do fight about money but its not actual fighting, its more like bickering and worry. We argue more about who gets the tv then anything. Apparently making him watch Cupcake Wars and Dance Moms is a huge deal... Actually our biggest argument is who's turn is it to clean the kitchen.

We don't fight about money at all. Most of our fights are about family...and mostly his family...but lately he's mad at his family so we haven't had a fight in months!

Our fights are over money (because he has champagne taste with a beer money budget), and my driving. I'm not the most patient driver, and we usually argue over the fact that I apparently drive like a maniac

we don't really fight a lot at all but when we bicker, it's usually about me being a slob and him being a nag about it

My argument is, we are both messy. However, when I see stuff of HIS lying around or his garbage on the table, I just take care of it.

He will have to point it out to me and it's annoying

I also like to do things on my own time and how I prioritize them. I get annoyed when people remind me to do things and he does do that and i sound like a teenager saying 'I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

eta: thankfully, we do not fight about money. We both have similar attitudes when it comes to our finances and for that I am grateful.
