Re: NW Cookbook

We are printing them for the luncheon but they are super long and it will be costly to print. We will have to figure out the best way to get them to everyone else. I would have suggested e-mailing the pdf to everyone but the file is to big. I will try to figure out a way for you to all get it.

I did find a company that would print it book style for about $6 a book, but it would take to long to have for the lunch. Not to mention I doubt everyone would want to spend that. Unless I got about 100 copies though it wouldn't work anyhow.

Isn't there a website you can upload large files to and then share them for download for a temporary amount of time with other people?

Computer geeks ... help me out here! I know I have done this in the past!

Re: NW Cookbook

You can try the following website:

www.yousendit.com

For free you can email large files. I use it at work.

Re: NW Cookbook

Is there a way that it can be emailed in pieces? Or maybe turn it into a PP presentation and send it that way?

A site like that would be perfect, where I could upload the pdf file and others can download it. i was trying to find something like that because I could use it for the collage as well rather then e-mailing all the people that asked for a copy.

Precisely what I was thinking! I used this all the time in college. Think it would be a relatively easy way for people to get the cookbook if they want it!

Re: NW Cookbook

If we could find a site to upload it to it would be easier then having to collect everyone's e-mails and e-mailing it to everyone individually.

Yes. I believe the way yousendit.com works is that you upload the file to the site and then tell everyone they have a certain timeframe in which to download it. You don't have to email anyone I don't think, but since other girls have used it more recently maybe someone else can clarify.

I know that the 2010 brides had done a cookbook and the girl actually put the PDF up on here for girls to download.

I think it was Alyssa79 but I am not sure. Maybe you can FM her.
